Description

Outbreaks of highly contagious infections can close veterinary hospitals for months. We delivered the first dedicated isolation facility in the area at the Hospital for Large Animals at Cummings Veterinary Medical Center at Tufts. The Building is separate from the main hospital to allow for separation and treatment of animals with potentially infectious diseases.

The Isolation Ward has six animals stalls. Each one has its own supply, exhaust and filtering system that maintains the space under negative pressure so no contaminated air can escape into the rest of the building.
